Daytona SX 2025

Daytona International Speedway

The Daytona SX is the the only event on the schedule to run uninterrupted for the entire 51 years of SX championship seasons. The March 1, 2025 date is the earliest Daytona SX ever. Jett Lawrence halted Eli Tomac’s Daytona win streak in 2024 while Tom Vialle won his very first 250SX.

Daytona 2025 is the second round of the SMX Next (Futures) championship and a 250SX East event.

Ken Roczen is a Daytona Winner!

In his 11th try, Ken Roczen battled his way from 4th to lead the final 9 laps of the 2025 Daytona Supercross. Roczen’s best was second (twice). His 23rd career victory means he’s the 6th different winner of 2025.

While Roczen gained a chunk of points on Chase Sexton (5th), he was only able to take back 3 points from Cooper Webb who was 2nd for the 5th time at Daytona.

RJ Hampshire

In his 6th attempt (in 250SX) since 2015, RJ Hampshire can finally call himself a Daytona winner. Hampshire not only became the third different 250SX East rider to win in 2025, he was the third straight to win qualifying, his heat race AND the main event.

Hampshire also survived the third straight red flag restart for the East Division when his title rival, Levi Kitchen crashed in a high speed endo around the halfway point in the race.
