The Spring Creek Pro Motocross is the biggest event of the year in Millville, Minnesota, a small hamlet on the Zumbro River. This event has run uninterrupted since 1983.
2025 Rd. 7 250: Jeremy Martin Hits a Walk-Off
Jeremy Martin (3-1/2nd) ended his Pro Motocross career in storybook fashion when he holeshot both motos and straight won moto 2 despite mid-race threats from defending champion and 19-year-old Haiden Deegan (1-2) who is 13 years his junior.
Martin raced the opening two rounds of the season to disastrous results (21st and 44th overall). He took a break and said his home (literally) track, Spring Creek MX Park would be the final race of his career. The 2-time 250MX champion (2014-2015) raced to his 46th career podium and 41st career moto win. Only Ricky Carmichael (2007), Ryan Villopoto (2013) and Rick Johnson (1990) won the final MX moto of their careers.
2025 Rd. 7 250: Haiden Deegan Wins
Haiden Deegan (2-1) soldiered through with a still-sore-and-bruised leg to win his 12th career 250MX overall to tie Eli Tomac for 13th on the list of all-time wins in the class.
Jo Shimoda (2-4/3rd) ran down and passed Deegan late in moto 1 but didn’t put in a breakaway lap and handed it back to Deegan. Jeremy Martin’s (3-1/2nd) walk-off win in moto 2 might be the story of the season as the 32-year-old ended his career with a win in his 174th moto.
2025 Rd. 7 450: Jett and Hunter Lawrence 1-2
For the 4th consecutive round, Jett and Hunter Lawrence went 1-2 overall but this time Hunter finally copped a moto win. Jett pulled his 5th and 6th holsehots of the season but fell coming out of the whoops on lap 1 of moto 1. Hunter won the moto +15 over Jett, who quickly got back to second.
Jett won moto 2 by 8.9 seconds over Hunter. His 22nd career win gave him 7th on the all-time premier class wins list.
