The only Ohio city to ever host a Supercross, Cleveland was added to the 1995 schedule, the same year the NFL’s Browns relocated to Baltimore. On April 18, 2026, the Rock and Roll Capital of the World finally returns to the SX scene.
Jeremy McGrath: 1995 Cleveland SX
The 1995 Cleveland Supercross was a special one for Jeremy McGrath who won his 9th race of the season and 28th of his career, which tied Ricky Johnson for most main event wins all-time. McGrath also won his 3rd consecutive championship in as many attempts.
“I’m going to come back next year even stronger and win my championship again,” McGrath said. Jeff Emig finished a very close second; Doug Henry was third.
