“America’s Most Scenic Raceway” Washougal MX Park opened to racing in 1971. This will be the 44th time Pro Motocross has raced at Washougal under the evergreens of the Pacific Northwest.
2025 Rd. 8 250: Jo Shimoda Wins
For the second time in his career, Jo Shimoda (2-1) won a second Pro Motocross round and kept his championship hopes alive while Haiden Deegan (1-2) limited the damage by tying Shimoda on points. It was Shimoda’s 5th career win.
Garrett Marchbanks (3-4) had a big day. He earned his first career Pro Motocross podium in 250MX (3rd) AND was Fastest Qualifier for the second time in his career and first since 2019.
2025 Rd. 8 450: Chase Sexton Wins
Chase Sexton (1-2) stopped Jett Lawrence’s (3-1) season win streak at 7 and handed Lawrence only his second loss in his 450 Pro Motocross career. Jorge Prado pulled the moto 1 holeshot, his first of his AMA career
In moto 2, Jett and Hunter Lawrence, Chase Sexton and Eli Tomac (2-3) were in a 4-way battle for the lead when a red flag came out at the 21:22 mark. The staggered restart was the first in Pro Motocross history. Jett Lawrence won and Tomac earned his 77th career premier class podium.
