Prado: 2026 450SMX Champ
Jorge Prado (5-1) needed a 3rd or better entering the 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship finale at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena but when he posted a 5th in M1, he left the door wide open for Haiden Deegan (1-2), and others to pounce.
Prado responded with a M2 Masterclass, which he holeshot and led all 17 laps. Deegan’s avg. gap to Prado was 1.5 seconds but he couldn’t make a move. Second overall was enough for Prado to win the 2026 450SMX title.
Levi Kitchen: 2026 250SMX Champ
Levi Kitchen (2-2) only pulled 2 regular season holeshots (one of those earned him a penalty) but he got one at the exact moment he needed it. Kitchen led the first 14 laps of M1 in the 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship finale at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena while his primary title rival (Ryder Difrancesco, 3-10) battled through the pack.
Kitchen rode a clean/consistent M2 to win the 250SMX title, his first championship and Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s first since 250MX in 2019.
Deegan Wins 2026 450SMX Finale
Haiden Deegan (1-2) led all 17 laps of M1 and dogged Jorge Prado (5-1) all 17 laps of M2 to win the 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship finale in Ridgedale, MO. Deegan entered the final round -16 and needed Prado finish 4th or worse to win the title.
Deegan stayed (on average) within 1.5 seconds of Prado for the entire second moto and went for a late aggressive pass but missed. He won 2 of the 3 rounds but ended the SMX season in 2nd place.
