SMX World Championship Payout

The SuperMotocross World Championship Playoffs is the pinnacle of off-road motorcycle racing. The prestige is partially the result of how much money is up for grabs!

A season-long, history-making purse of $10 million will encompass the entire 31-race SuperMotocross season, where $5.5 million will be on the line for the Playoff rounds of the SMX World Championship. A record $1 million will be awarded to the 450cc division champion, and $500,000 for the 250cc division champion. It’s the most prize money in the history of off-road motorcycle racing.

  • $16M+: purse money earned by riders in 3 years (2023-25) of SuperMotocross World Championship Finals racing.

  • Top 450 Purse Earners: Jett Lawrence $3.7M, Hunter Lawrence $1.4M, and Ken Roczen $1.0M.

  • Eli Tomac has $660K in SMX playoff payout having podiumed in 5 of 6 career starts. An SMX playoff overall win is the only race type he’s not stood atop the podium on in this sport.
