2025 Rd. 2: Haiden Deegan's Perfect Day
Haiden Deegan (1-1) recorded his 4th career moto sweep but it was his first ever perfect race (Fastest Qualifier and moto sweep). For the second week in a row, Deegan won both motos over Jo Shimoda (2-2), in win margins of 6.99 and 9.1 seconds. Deegan is the first rider to win the first 4 motos of the season in the 250 class since Jeremy Martin in 2014.
Levi Kitchen (3-3) finished third overall. Due to extreme temperatures, the second motos were shortened to 25 minutes +2 laps
2025 Rd. 2: Jett Lawrence wins 450
Jett Lawrence (3-1) won his 17th career 450MX race in his 18th start but, maybe more shocking, was his 3rd place in moto 1, the first time he’d ever taken 3rd in a 450 moto.
Eli Tomac (1-9) won moto 1, his 69th career 450 moto win and first Since Sept. 2022. Aaron Plessinger led all but 2 laps of the first moto but couldn’t hold off Tomac. Justin Cooper (4-2) finished third and pulled the holeshot in moto 1. Because of the excessive heat (103), the second motos were shortened to 25 minutes +2 laps.
